The support of Walmart has been significant to the development of the Living Waters Park development. Councilwoman Gyna Bivens, District 5, praised the efforts of Living Waters Park. She said, “It is amazing that we have this gem hidden in Fort Worth, on the east side where there is a need for economic development, and we don’t work this land.” Additionally, Lance Swint, General Manager of Eastchase Walmart, extended his support of the development and emphasized that, “We want our employees to know and see that the community they live in is supported by us.”
