BERLIN, Germany – November 2, 2026 – aiomics is offering hospitals and rehabilitation clinics a free one-month pilot of its medical letter workflow. The software prepares drafts from the supplied case records in the clinic’s own structure, with source references that help clinicians check the information before approving the document.
Discharge correspondence brings together information collected at different points in a patient’s stay. Admission findings, earlier reports and subsequent observations may sit in separate files. Preparing the final letter requires both an account of the case and a way to verify the statements included in it.
Starting with the clinic’s document structure
Aiomics uses organisation-specific templates and document presets to shape the draft. The clinic agrees the report type, headings and layout for its workflow. This allows the first draft to follow the structure that staff need to review and complete.
The software reads the supplied documents and prepares text from the available case information. Referenced statements retain links to their supporting material. Reviewers can inspect the original passage while deciding whether the draft accurately represents the case and whether further clinical explanation is required.
For rehabilitation reports, the configured structure can follow the requirements relevant to the clinic’s reporting process. The responsible physicians supply and approve the professional assessment. A generated draft remains dependent on the quality and completeness of the records made available to it.
Bringing source checks into the review
In the standard report-generation workflow, a separate verification pass compares the draft’s references with the underlying sources. The purpose is to identify references that do not support the associated claim. The applicable review steps depend on the configured document workflow, which is demonstrated during implementation.
Professional review remains part of every release decision. A draft can still contain errors or omissions after automated checks. The ability to open the source helps the reviewer investigate a statement, correct the wording and identify information that the supplied record does not establish.
This matters when a plausible sentence conceals an unresolved question. If the records describe discharge arrangements as pending, the draft should preserve that status. The reviewer can check the evidence and update the letter when the arrangement has actually been confirmed and documented.
Measuring the work through to the approved letter
The pilot defines the source documents, templates, review responsibilities and handover format in advance. Evaluation can then separate draft creation, source checking, clinical corrections and export. This gives the clinic a view of the effort required to reach an approved letter.
Aiomics supports export of the completed document. A direct connection to the hospital information system is configured for the site’s target fields and transfer requirements. The evaluation includes any remaining manual handover work, allowing teams to assess the whole process on their own cases.
