Reynolds&, a legal clinic affiliated with Chicago-Kent College of Law, is expanding its outreach across the Chicagoland area to support individuals facing wrongful denials of disability, life insurance, and retirement benefits governed by ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act).
As part of the Law Offices of Chicago-Kent, Reynolds& operates with a mission-driven approach — combining rigorous legal advocacy with a commitment to serving underrepresented and underserved communities. Now, the clinic is broadening its services to ensure more residents throughout the city have access to experienced, ethical, and effective representation in disputes with employer-provided insurance plans.
“Too often, individuals are left confused and overwhelmed when a long-term disability claim is denied or when promised retirement benefits don’t materialize,” said William Reynolds, Assistant Clinical Professor and Supervising Attorney. “Our goal at Reynolds& is to step in during those difficult moments and provide trusted guidance rooted in both legal expertise and compassion.”
While Reynolds& is relatively new as a named clinic, the team behind it brings years of experience in handling complex ERISA cases. From accidental death benefit denials to health and pension plan disputes, the clinic helps clients navigate a legal system that can otherwise feel inaccessible.
This recent expansion marks the start of a broader effort to raise awareness about ERISA rights and to provide direct support to clients across Chicago’s neighborhoods.
